Youtube ประเทศไทย แจ้งประกาศเอเยนซี่และลูกค้าสำหรับแนวทางการปฏิบัติโฆษณาล่าสุด (20 ต.ค. 2559) ว่า Youtube ยินดีร่วมให้แบรนด์ต่างๆทำโฆษณาหรีอข้อความแสดงความไว้อาลัยแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 9 (King Bhumibol Adulyadej) ซึ่งรายได้จากการทำโฆษณาทั้งหมดจะถูกนำไปบริจาคให้กับโครงการหรือกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมในพระอุปภัมภ์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 9
โฆษณาพิเศษนี้จะรันจำนวน 10 วัน ตั้งแต่ 21-30 ตุลาคม 2559 ส่วนรูปแบบของโฆษณา (Format) ประกอบด้วย
-Mastheads สามารถนำสื่อมาแสดงแบบป้าย ขนาดใหญ่ที่ส่วนบนของ Homepage ยูทูป
– Reservation in-stream – specific Custom Pack เป็นการนำเสนอแบบพิเศษ ซึ่งกำลังจะใช้ในเร็วๆ นี้
– Standard Reservation In-Stream และ TrueView แสดงข้อความไว้อาลัย
โดยรูปแบบโฆษณาจะต้องอยู่บนหลักการและสอดคล้องของนโยบายของการเผยแพร่ของ Youtube

YouTube charitable donation
To honor King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s memory, and in line with the thai government’s guidelines, we welcome brands to create tribute ads to King Bhumibol Adulyadej:
• The proceeds from these tribute ads will be donated to a local registered charity in honor of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, by Google.org.
• This special charitable donation, which applies to tribute ads, will run from October 21-31.
From October 21-31, The following types of tribute ads will be available to your clients:
• Mastheads: We can run digital specific assets, or alternatively, we will help repurpose print and billboard creative, free of charge.
• Reservation in-stream – specific Custom Pack: We will create a special custom pack which will comprise select videos and channels. This pack will be available in the coming days
• Standard Reservation In-Stream and TrueView: are also available for condolence messages
• Note that all other activity across all ad formats will run in accordance with standard ads policies
